This week, we had a work trip to Brighton for our annual Brainstorm Session. This is a chance for us to really look at the magazine, pull it apart, think of new ideas and then the Editor has the job of putting it back together again. Sessions like this are a great way for us to think differently and to get out of London midweek. Luckily, it’s been the hottest week of the year so far so many of us went on beachside runs and walks. I’m lucky enough to do this everyday where I live in Herne Bay, so I took a stroll to the Pavillion instead. As I didn’t have my camera with me, I took some snaps for instagram instead. I’m always drawn by blue skies, harsh shadows and contrast plus interesting shapes. The morning sun wasn’t quite right but I grabbed some shots regardless. The rest of the afternoon was spent indoors discussing ideas before we finished early and headed back to our own homes.
